IVAN BOESKY

An American stock trader who is known for his role in 1986 Wall Street scandal. During his stint in Wall Street, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued Boesky of illegal stock manipulation according to the insider information. He made a plea bargain and disclosed some of his tipsters including junk bond king Michael Milken. As a result, he was jailed at Lompoc Federal Prison Camp in California for two years and fined $100 million. Boesky was also banned from working in securities lifetime.
