JOBLESS RECOVERY
An economic recuperation after a recession, where the economy improves in general but the unemployment rate is increasing or remains high over a prolonged time period. Jobless recovery may be a result of cautious businesses that extend hours of its employees to escalate production capacity rather than hiring new workers.
