KIJUN-SEN
A part of the of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo charting system that is used to measure medium-term momentum. It mirrors a market trend. To compute Kijun-Sen:
Kijun-Sen = (Highest High + Lowest Low) / 2
The formula used in creating Kijun-Sen is almost identical to the Tenkan-Sen formula except the number of time periods used in the calculation is added to gauge longer-term momentum. Prices higher than kijun-sen will increase while prices lower than the line will decrease.
