LAISSEZ FAIRE
A theory in 18th century that states an economy should be free from any government intervention be driven by the market forces only. This theory explains governmental interference makes an economy less efficient and hampers growth. People supporting this theory are against minimum wages, protectionism, antitrust laws, duties, and other trade-related transactions.
This is a French term for "leave alone" and is sometimes referred as "let it be economics".
