LAWRENCE KLEIN
An American economist who received the 1980 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics for his studies about econometrics and creating of computer models, which was widely-used by fellow economists. Aside from econometrics, a combination of statistics and economics to predict trends, he also focused on macroeconomics.
He also received the John Bates Clark Medal and became the chief economic advisor of former US President Jimmy Carter.
