A benchmark index which is composed of mortgage-backed securities funds, specifically with 15-year and 30-year maturities. This includes securities such as the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp (FHLMC), and Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA).
