LEVERAGED LOAN INDEX - LLI
A market-weighted index which follows the performance of institutional leveraged loans. This index can be a useful tool in evaluating the health of these institutional loan markets for it monitors spreads and interest payments. The Standard & Poor's and the Loan Syndications and Trading Association developed the most well-known leveraged loan index in 1997. It represents most of the institutional universe.
