LINEARLY WEIGHTED MOVING AVERAGE
A moving average that designates a greater weighting on recent price data than the common moving average does. To get the average, every closing price is multiplied by its specific position in the data series. After determining the time-period’s position, add these data and divide by the sum of the time periods.
