LORENZ CURVE
A visual representation of income distribution designed by American Economist Max Lorenz in 1905. As shown in the graph, a straight line signifies perfect equality of income distribution. The Lorenz curve on it represents the actuality of income distribution. The distance between the straight line and the curve line is the value of imparity of wealth distribution, which is depicted by Gini coefficient.
