LOTTERY
A game of chance by which winners are usually decided by drawing of lots. It can be employed in decision-making situations such as sports drafts and allocation of scarce medical treatment. But these are mostly used in financial lotteries, where players choose a group of numbers and win prizes according to how they matched the results.
