Measurement of the amount of adoption or sales of a good or service, in relation to the total theoretical sales for that product or service. This can be possible by applying strategies like advertising, bundling, marking down prices, and making volume discounts. This can be a company’s sale or industry while the latter can be the total population or a valuation of total possible customers for that product.
