MARKET PRICE
The present price at which the security or service can be bought or sold, as determined by the law of supply and demand. Economic theory affirms the market prices meet at a point where supply and demand forces converge. Either the supply side and/or the demand side can cause the market price to be assessed again for a product or service.
Also called market value.
