MARKET-BASED CORPORATE GOVERNANCE SYSTEM
A governance system that relies on the company’s investors to exert control over how the firm should be managed. This governance system specify the duties and responsibilities of several participants in the corporation, including the board of directors, stakeholders, management, employees, suppliers, and customers. It is said there is a great weight on shareholders in the system because they provide at least most of the capital to the company for its operations.
