MARKETWEIGHT
A credit rating system assigned to fixed income assets. The rating system gives a subjective estimate of the present credit card’s accuracy and determine if the investment is attractive. It has three levels: marketweight, overweight, and underweight. Marketweight ranking means the credit spread of an instrument at present is consistent with market expectations.
