MINIMUM LEASE PAYMENTS
The least amount a lesse can anticipate in making a lease in his or her lifetime. Accountants compute minimum lease payments to designate a current value to the lease. The way of calculating it is stated in the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No. 13 (FAS: 13), which was released in 1980 by the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
