MISSION STATEMENT
A declaration used by a company to explain its purpose, written in simple and concise terms. This remains unchanged over time and serve a dual purpose by assisting employees to stay focused on the tasks at hand and encourage them to look for innovative ways of moving towards an escalating productive achievement of the firm’s goals. It is not uncommon for huge companies to spend many years and huge amounts enhancing and refining their mission statement, with many of these mission statements eventually become household phrases.
