MONDUSTRIAL POLICY
A hybrid of monetary policy and industrial policy, which denotes the US Federal State’s creation of new money during the financial crisis in 2008-2009. This is to deliver some companies like Bear Stearns and AIG, as well as some markets such as commercial paper and money-market mutual funds, at the extent of others, by buying securities and creating loans.
