MORTGAGE BOND
An acquired bond by a mortgage on more or more assets. These are backed by real estate holdings and/or real property such as a physical equipment that can be liquidated. These are considered safe and high-grade investments. Mortgage bondholders have a right to the real estate property and can sell it off to recompense for the default.
