MOSAIC THEORY
A research method where security analysts collate information about a corporation. It involved gathering public, non-public, and non-material data about a company to evaluate the underlying value of the company's securities and allow the analyst to create recommendations to clients according to the available information.
Also known as scuttlebutt method.
