MULTILATERAL NETTING
An arrangement among multiple parties where transactions are put together, rather than settling it separately. It does not only streamline the settlement process, but it also diminish the risk by specifying that, in case of a default or other related termination event, all outstanding contracts are also terminated. In general, it is activated through membership organization such as an exchange.
