MUTUAL FUND TIMING
A legal but gloomed practice where traders try to gain short-term profits from buying and selling mutual funds in order to benefit from the spread between the daily closing prices. This is different from market timing because the latter is an acceptable method of attempting to guess the best time to purchase and sell stocks.
