OFF BOARD
A stock transaction that fits either one of the following:
- Stock trade that involves a security that doesn’t trade on a major exchange.
- A stock trade which involves a stock that is listed on a major exchange but is still executed OTC, normally between a customer and an institution or two institutions. This type can be done only with 19c3 stocks or securities that recorded on the exchange after 1979.
