OFFICE AUDIT
Office audit is when the Internal Revenue Service examines taxpayer’s records, ensuring that he/she complies with tax laws. IRS interviews the taxpayer and checks the taxpayer’s records at an IRS office. The main purpose of an office audit is to guarantee that the taxpayer reports his/her income and pays the lawful amount of tax accurately.
