OWNER FINANCING
When a buyer finances the purchase straight through the person selling it. This often happens when the prospective buyer can’t obtain funding through a conventional mortgage lender, or is reluctant to pay the prevailing market interest rates. The seller may agree to owner financing if he or she is having difficulty selling the property.
