PAIRED SHARES
When two separate companies’ stocks are managed or supervised by a single corporation, that is called paired shares. These are traded as if they are only one stock and sold as only unit. Both companies’ stocks appear on one stock certificate. One stock profits higher dividend, while the other has a better potential for growth. A share of stock is a type of security that indicates ownership in a corporation and represents a claim on part of the corporation's earnings and assets.
