PARIS CLUB
Paris club is an informal group of creditor nations that aim to help debtor nations find solutions to their payment problems. It has a permanent 19 members, coming mostly from the western European and Scandinavian nations, Japan, U.S and UK. As an informal group, it has no official statutes and no formal beginning date, even though its first meeting with a debtor nation, the Argentina, held in 1956.
