REAL ESTATE OPERATING COMPANY - REOC
A real estate operating company invests in real estate and its shares are traded in a public exchange. It is actually similar to real estate investment trust or REIT, except to the fact that an REOC reinvests its earnings to the business, instead of distributing them to unit holders like what REITs do.
