SEC Form F-6 is also referred to as the Registration Statement. This means that SEC Form F-1 is a filing that is required for the registration of specific securities by foreign issuers under the Securities and Exchange Commission. SEC Form F-6’s main purpose is for the registration of shares that are represented by American depositary receipts (ADRs) that was issued by depositary versus a foreign issuer’s deposit of securities.
