SEC Form N-5 is also referred to as the Registration Statement of Small Investment Companies Under The Securities Act of 1933 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. This means that SEC Form N-5 is a filing mandated for the registration of the securities of a small business investment company registered with the Small Business Investment Act of 1959 or have approval of the Small Business Administration to submit a license application under the Securities and Exchange Commission.
