SETTLEMENT PERIOD
Settlement Period is a period of time spanning the settlement date and the transaction date. It is the time allocated for the satisfaction of the obligations in the transaction. The buyer is required to settle payments within the settlement period. Likewise, the seller is required to deliver the securities purchased within the settlement period.
