SHADOW PRICING
Shadow Pricing is defined in two ways. First, it is one share of a money market fund’s actual market value. It is the securities that are accounted for. This is based on their amortized cost. Second, shadow pricing is the assigning of dollar values to non-marketed goods. Examples are production costs and intangible assets.
