A Shareholder Services Agent is a financial institution. The main purpose of a shareholder services agent is to take care of shareholders of mutual funds and publicly-traded corporations. These agents usually are there to maintain the record-keeping and communication. They take care of administrative responsibilities including shareholder problems and concerns.
