SHORT SQUEEZE
Short Squeeze is a situation wherein a stock that is heavily shorted does a sudden upward movement enough to force investors to close their short positions. This adds more upward pressure to the stock. It is called as such due to the fact that short sellers are ‘squeezed’ out of their positions. More often than not, those squeezed out are at a loss.
