SUB-SOVEREIGN OBLIGATION - SSO
Debt obligation issued by a governmental unit below the governing body of a country or territory to finance municipal and local projects. The risk level associated with these bonds depend on the financial stability of the body issuing these obligations. Also called municipal (muni) debt obligation.
