TAXABLE WAGE BASE
Maximum annual income on which an employee must pay his taxes. In general, the taxpayer’s gross income will match the taxable wage base. The employer will deal with this computation and state the right amount of taxes every paycheck. However, the individual is still responsible for filing the tax.
