TECHNICAL DECLINE
Drop in the security price due to certain elements other than a change in its fundamental value. A security is said to be experiencing a technical decline when the security or the market moves upward and the price moves downward based on technical factors. The general connotation is that the technical decline is a short time in demand, then it rebounds to the fair market value implied by fundamentals.
