Mathematical formula in relation to the long-term capital growth. Scientist John Larry Kelly Jr. developed the formula when he was working at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Gamblers and investors utilize the formula to know the percentage of their bankroll or capital to be used in every bet or trade to optimize long-term growth.
