TRANSFER ON DEATH - TOD
Contractual option allowing the owner of a specific asset to assign the beneficiary that will receive these assets in the event the owner passes away without going through probate. It also allows the owner to specify the percentage of assets each beneficiary will get, which is automatically transferred to them upon the owner’s death.
