TREASURY OFFERING
Issuance of a company’s treasury shares to investors. During a Treasury offering, a company needs to generate additional money but does not want to incur extra debt. They will often issue additional class of security of its currently trading equity, but it can cause dilution to existing shareholders. The costs are irreversible.
