TRICKLE-DOWN EFFECT
Phenomenon in which an advertisement is rapidly circulated through word of mouth or viral marketing. It works when an ad is too compelling due to its uniqueness, entertainment worth, humor, or exceptional trait. Trickle-down effect can gain a great deal of exposure for a firm in a short time period, and done at a low cost.
