TURKISH NEW LIRA
Currency abbreviation for the Turkish new lira, the official currency of Turkey. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, a self-declared state recognized only by Turkey, also uses the currency. Introduced in 2005, the currency is composed of 100 kurus and presented with the symbol YTL.
