U.S. DOLLAR/SWISS FRANC
USD/CHF (U.S. Dollar/Swiss Franc) is the abbreviation for the currency of the United States of America which is the US dollars (USD) and its equivalent value in terms of the currency of Switzerland which is the Swiss Franc (CHF). This currency pair indicates the amount of Swiss francs or the one referred to as the quote currency that is required to buy one US dollar, otherwise known as the base currency. In the trading world, the pairing of USD/CHF is also called as ‘Swissie’.
