Valuation Analysis is a form of fundamental analysis that involves the comparison of one particular security to another, to a group of securities, or within its very own historical context. Furthermore, it is done by a fundamental investor to evaluate the potential merits of an investment or to conduct an objective assessment of the value of a business or asset.
