ABATEMENT
It is the level of taxation’s reduction faced by a company or an individual. Some examples of abatement are rebates, penalty reduction and tax decrease. The abatement can be requested from authorized tax authorities when an individual or a company overpaid its taxes of its tax bill is significantly higher than usual.
