ACCEPTABLE QUALITY LEVEL - AQL
It is a statistical measurement to determine the number of goods that are defective that can be considered as acceptable given a particular output sample size. If the defective goods surpasses the acceptable quality level, then the manufacturers will have to review all production’s parameter in order to determine which areas are the cause of the defects. The use of AQL is important to companies that want to seek a six sigma level of quality control.
