ACCOUNTING ENTITY
Often called as the reporting entity. It can either be a business or subdivision of business that engages in economic activities. An economic assets and resources must also be accounted, and is should separate from the personal dealings of its owners. It should also be a clearly defined economic unit that is accounted for separately. Once an accounting entity is determined, transactions within the specific unit are accounted.
