AMLF

The lending program devised by the Federal Reserve Board on the 19th of September, 2008, which will arrange new funding to financial institutions in the U.S. just before October 30,2009. The AMLF (Asset-Backed Commercial Paper Money Market Fund Liquidity Facility) gives funding which permits financial institutions to buy ABCP (asset-backed commercial paper) from (MMMF) money market mutual funds to avoid default on the redemptions of the investors.
