CAPITAL GUARANTEE FUND

In this type of investment, the investor’s principal is guarded from misses and declines. With this fund, any damage or problems faced by the underlying investments are taken by the fund company, which looks to invest the greater part of the fund capital in an exceptionally conservative securities to aid in depreciating the likelihood of declines, an action that also restricts return.

"Capital-protected fund" is the other term used to describe Capital Guarantee Fund.
