CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINER - CFE
Professional designation given to fraud examiners. These professionals are trained to probe, identify, and prevent both financial and legal crime and fraud. To obtain this certification, one must pass a comprehensive board examination given by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. They are also subject to regular continuous education requirements like CPAs and CFPs.
