CLOSED LOOP MRP
Manufacturing resource planning system used in production planning and inventory control, with an information feedback feature allowing plans to be checked and changed. It synchronizes purchasing or materials procurement plans along with the master production schedule. Then, it will return the information on completed manufacture and materials on hand so it can be adjusted based on the capacity and other requirements. Also called closing the loop.
